Loyalty Scheme Programme

Our client is one of the world’s leading manufacturers and marketers of quality skin care, makeup, fragrance and hair care products. The company’s products are sold in over 150 countries and territories, under a wide range of high-profile brand names. 

The Challenge

The US business had implemented a range of loyalty schemes across brands and channels, developing a loyalty IT solution in the process. The UK wanted to evaluate the opportunity and case for introducing similar loyalty schemes.

Our Mission

The UK business appointed us to evaluate the ‘fit’ of the US technical solution, provide a business case and assess the required scope of work.  We analysed the UK operation’s capability across individual brands, looking at strategic plans, customer relationships and data. A US visit, provided a critical analysis of the scope and functionality of their loyalty solution, programme approach and design. The team also reviewed the performance of the loyalty scheme to understand its impact and benefits.

In the UK, the loyalty programme needed to be based on a different platform. Having considered various IT solutions and individual brand requirements in the UK operation, we developed a business case, a programme approach, plans and a structure for delivering the loyalty programme aligned to the best technical solution out of the range of options.


Results We Deliverered

Our assessment of the US loyalty schemes also helped the client to gain much better insight on the synergies and differences in technology, points of similarity and difference in requirements and CAPEX / OPEX implications between the US and UK loyalty initiatives, which informed decision making.

The review and prioritisation of UK brands – and focusing minds on the key initiatives and deliverables – resulted in us getting the programme back on track speedily, saving the client time, cost and wasted effort.
