The Challenge

The client is one of the world’s leading manufacturers and marketers of quality skin care, makeup, fragrance and hair care products. The Company’s products are sold in over 150 countries and territories under a wide range of high-profile brand names.

The US business had implemented a range of loyalty schemes across brands and channels, developing a loyalty IT solution in the process. The UK wished to evaluate the opportunity and case for introducing similar loyalty schemes.

The UK business appointed P2 to evaluate the ‘fit’ of the US technical solution, provide a business case and assess the required scope of work.

The Solution

We analysed the UK’s current capability across individual brands, including strategic plans, customer relationships and data.

A US visit provided a critical analysis of the scope and functionality of their Loyalty solution, programme approach and design enabling a performance review of impact and benefits from the launched loyalty schemes.

In the UK, with different operations and IT solutions, individual brand requirements were provided, considering UK specific needs, operations and the changes to integrate Loyalty functionality into a different platform.

A business case, programme approach, plans and structure provided the structure and detail to deliver an end to end delivery solution.
